What is carboxytherapy?

Carbonic anhydrite is a natural gas present in every human body. It is a by-product of metabolism and increases with increasing muscular effort. This means that when physical activity is performed, the amount of carbon dioxide in the tissues increases. The role of carbon dioxide is to expand the blood vessels and in this form, more oxygen will be brought to the muscles. Therefore, muscles grow after physical activity. Carbonic anhydrite (CO2) has another important role; destroys fat cells located under the skin. For this reason, carboxytherapy is used to treat cellulite and stretch marks. In addition to the effect on adipose cells, carbonic anhydrite increases the amount of blood in the fibrous tissues of the skin, giving it a healthier appearance. It interferes with cellulite and fat by eliminating them.

How does carboxytherapy work?

First of all, an examination of the cellulite by the doctor is needed to decide on the amount of CO2 that should be injected. The session lasts 10-15 minutes wwhichCO2 is injected under the skin with a very thin blade. (after 0.3 mm). The process is very simple and requires no recovery time and no anesthesia is used. The treatment does not cause any allergies or side effects. Carboxytherapy can be done in 4-16 sessions. Sessions can be done every day or every 3-4 or 7 days.
